Find a parametrization for the a ray with the inital point (2,3) that passes through the point (-1,1)? Help? Explain? thank you

A line segment can be parameterized by the following vector equation: \[\vec{r}(t)=(1-t)(\text{initial point})+t(\text{end point})\] where \(0\le t\le1\). When \(t=0\), you're left with just the initial point, and as \(t\to1\), \(\vec{r}(t)\) approaches the end point.
