i am just confused on how like sin(2pi/3)= sqrt3/2 but then csc=2sqrt3/3?

kind of.... can you tell me why when converting to degrees we use 180/pi instead of 360/pi?

My teacher never really explained that she just taught us how to do it so i am not positive, sorry i am not much help
