I am citing a research paper. My question is, do I list the authors in the order they appear or in alphabetical order. How about on the reference page? Should it be last name first as on the reference page? Thanks

In proper APA style, if that's what you're using, you must list the authors in alphabetical order from one reference to the other. If you are listing authors within the same reference, use the order in which the authors were presented on the work. EX: Drake, J., Arbor, M., & Salice, R. (2001). Title....etc. Edgars, M, Ryans, J., & Stephens, M. (2010). Title... etc Usually the different references on your reference page are double spaced between references and single spaced within references. Hope that helps. Em.
