please what is the solution of the linear inequality 3x + 19 ≤ 6x + 12 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you want to isolate the x that means you want x either on the left or in the right... which side do you want?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

left!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then it is gonna be 3x ≤ -7 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then is the answer x ≤ -7/3 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Just treat the inequality symbol as a equal sign for now and solve for x. 3x + 19 = 6x + 12 minus the 6x to other side -3x + 19 = 12 minus the 19 to the other side -3x = -7 divide -3 to get x by itself and then you get x
