What does “five less” mean in a verbal expression? A.+ 5 B.– 5 C.5 – D.5/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Wouldn't it be B because if for example: "If a boy is 10 yrs old and the girl is 5 yrs less than the boy, what is the age of the girl?" So 10 - 5 = 5 Right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's definitely C.
