Trinh is catering a wedding that 112 people will attend. She is making two cakes, a chocolate cake and a carrot cake. of the guests will be served chocolate cake and the rest will receive carrot cake. How many guests will get carrot cake?

do 5 divided by 8, and find that percentage, then take that percentage of 112 for the chocolate, then subtract that from 112 to find how many will be eating the carrot cake.
3/8 of the guests receive carrot cake. So take 3/8 of 112. To do this, multiply 3/8 * 112
