factor 3

OpenStudy (jazzyfa30):

with everything?????

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah :/ i'm so confused

OpenStudy (jazzyfa30):

ok lets start with the subject???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

pre-calculus

OpenStudy (jazzyfa30):

woah ummmm @phi

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@nubeer do u know how to do this?

OpenStudy (nubeer):

i think you have to multiply 3 with every element in the matrix and then plot those points on graph.. so one of the options would eventually match.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeahh i did that but i can't seem to math it up to the graph haha, i got -3 15 15 -6 6 10 6 -8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

match *

OpenStudy (nubeer):

lol try doing the multiplication again.. you did it wrong in the second row.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh yeahh:/

OpenStudy (nubeer):

well go on try again...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it is the first one?

OpenStudy (phi):

The first thing to do is look for a graph that has the original Quadrilateral wxyz in the correct starting point. the first point of wxyz has x= -1 and y= 2 can you find the point on each of the graphs ? It is tricky because each square is 2 units wide, so x=-1 is 1/2 of a block to the left of the vertical axis, and y=2 is one block up from the x-axis

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@nubeer can u help me with another one?

OpenStudy (nubeer):

lol depends :P but sure go on.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if u cant do it then it's fine(:

OpenStudy (nubeer):

nah .. its fine.. . shoot.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

vertices *

OpenStudy (anonymous):

b. label this image j''k''l c. what translation would move jkl to j'' k'' l directly ***

OpenStudy (nubeer):

it's easy but bit long to solve.. you have to do every step..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i'd be soooo freaking happy if could help me or give me a site that explains how to do it, my teacher confuses me:(

OpenStudy (nubeer):

lol .. you don't need a site.. it's pretty easy to solve.. hardly takes a min. for a part.. move every corner of the triangle 1 block towards right and 8 blocks upaward.. can u do that first?

OpenStudy (nubeer):

or just add 1 in every x coordiante and 8 in every y-coordinate

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so (-2,13) (5,12) (4,6)

OpenStudy (nubeer):

yup.. can just label these as mentioned in your question and match it with your graph given

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so a?

OpenStudy (nubeer):

yup.. looks like..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

tytytyty<3

OpenStudy (nubeer):

lol :P no problem at all :)
