Below are two expressions. Simplify each and choose the statement that is true about each. Expression #1 (4x)^2(x) Expression #2 (6x^2)^4 My answer is: The exponents on Expression #2 are greater than the exponents of Expression #1. Am I right? :)

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

(4x)^2(x) = 16x^3 (6x^2)^4 = 1296x^8

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

8 > 3 so exponents on expression#2 are greater than the exponents of expression #1

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

you're right ! good job !!
