OpenStudy (shamil98):

Assume f(x) = -2x + 8 and g(x) = 3x. What is the value of (g o f)(3). What is the 3 for ? ._. I know that you put input the given of f into the equation of g. what do i do with (3)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3 will be the x value of the function F(x).. then the output you get from f(3) will be the x value for g(x)

OpenStudy (shamil98):

So, its -2(3) + 8 = 2 then i input 6 into 3(x) for g right?

OpenStudy (shamil98):

2 into 3(x)*

OpenStudy (shamil98):

The answer is 6 right?...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (shamil98):

okay, thank you.
