I would go with the other argument. I would say something along the lines of Christopher Columbus was a thief. He stole land from the natives. When you look at the big picture of it all. Columbus killed roughly 10,000 Native Americans. He didn't do it directly of course that was President Andrew Jackson, but would Jackson have been able to pass the Indian Removal act if not for Columbus's discovery. Also not only is America one of the most developed countries. It is also one of the most polluted. So not only did Christopher Columbus kill thousands of people. He's discovery is slowly killing our planet.
