Why did so many colonists protest the Stamp Act?

OpenStudy (jacobbenvenutty):

The reason why the colonists were not big fans of the stamp act was basically because of the high unfair taxes. One of them including tea. The colonists responded with riots such as the Boston Tea Party.

The colonists opposed the Stamp Act because they couldn't be taxed without consent since they weren't represented in Parliament.
