OpenStudy (firejay5):

I need help with #1, because the directions are confusing me and aren't really helping me that much. Medal will be rewarded if work is shown or work is explained correctly and accurately.

OpenStudy (firejay5):

OpenStudy (firejay5):

@mathstudent55 @jim_thompson5910

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wow i have no idea!

OpenStudy (firejay5):

really are you sure?

OpenStudy (loser66):

I am sorry Firejay5. I don't know what it is.

OpenStudy (ybarrap):

what the?

OpenStudy (firejay5):

Oh wait real quick

OpenStudy (firejay5):

OpenStudy (loser66):

I don't know

OpenStudy (firejay5):

@mathstudent55 I need your help man! :D

OpenStudy (ybarrap):

ok, this now makes a little more sense.

OpenStudy (firejay5):

sorry dude

OpenStudy (ybarrap):

How did you determine the measure of HAX? Using a compass?

OpenStudy (firejay5):

no a protractor

OpenStudy (ybarrap):

Ok. It does not look like measure of HBP equals measure of HAX. But, once you've done this, looks like you just no need to extend BP all the way to the right and you're done.

OpenStudy (firejay5):

Wait what this isn't helping me? @ybarrap

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

that's easy

OpenStudy (firejay5):

Can you help me, because I don't get it?

OpenStudy (firejay5):

Do you get this nincompoop

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

draw a vertical line parallel to line AB

OpenStudy (firejay5):

where

OpenStudy (firejay5):

like you have to show me so I know what you're talking about

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

that line must touch or intersect point X

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

determine the length of line AB and then make sure you create the same length PX along the parallel line you drew

OpenStudy (firejay5):

like in inches

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

it doesn't matter. inches, cm, mm. you can even use kilometer or light-year

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

that's for you to decide

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

I am backing my data right now so I can't really use my board to illustrate to you what I am talking about

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

by the way the PX should be with small letter p instead of capital. the reason for this is to tentatively or estimate where you can draw the straight line so that you can create an actual XP that touches the end of the steak on the left side

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

good luck
