An object is dropped from a platform 100 feet high. Ignoring wind resistance, what will its speed be when it reaches the ground? _____ ft/s

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would need to figure out the weight of the object, if im not wrong, which is \[w=mg\] where \[m=mass\]in kilograms, and \[g=9.8m/s ^{2}\] That would give you the downwards force in \[g=kg/m/s ^{2}\] From there convert to feet per second and you are good to go
