There are people who believe that the left brain is the more important hemisphere and needs to be developed as much as possible since it reflects the values that need to be increased in our schools (math, science, and language). The other side of the argument says that we need to develop the right brain skill of music and art more. Realizing that we use both sides of our brain for most activities, where do you stand on the right brain-left brain development debate? What subjects should be taught in grade schools to increase education?

The answer is in your question.It totally depend on what subjects a person exposing to.I think subjects that involves the left side should be taught because it is more important in the real life rather than some thing like art or music.In addition art and music is more like a extra ingredient of life which is necessary but not really important.
