What is the next term in the sequence below? 1/2, 2/6, 3/18, 4/54 ... A. 5/162 B. 5/57 C. 5/60 D. 5/108 (I really need help, and could you please explain how you got the answer)

the numerators : just add 1 each time the denominators : multiply it by 3 each time. 1/2 -- add 1 to the numerator, and multiply the denominator by 3 and you get 2/6. 2/6 -- add 1 to the numerator, and multiply the denominator by 3 and you get 3/18 you see the pattern....now take the last term 4/54 -- add 1 to the numerator, and multiply the denominator by 3 and you get 5/162 understand ?
