\(\bf \large \textit{if an increase in x, always produces a }\color{red}{\textit{linear }}\textit{increase in y}\) which one do you think?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I was thinking it would be B but i am not sure.

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

yes, well, if the change is LINEAR, it has to be a line, C and A aren't a line, so the only option will be B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thank you! just wanted to be sure [:

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

well, to be semantically correct, they're all 3 lines really but when it's said to be linear, they mean just a "straight line"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yep
