Please help. What answer is right? These are three answers I came up with and I don't know which is the right one. A transformation T : (x, y) -->(x + 3, y + 1). The image of B(4, 1) under this transformation is (7, 2) (1, 0) (-1, 0)

OpenStudy (ivettef365):

just substitute the x for 4 and the y for 1

OpenStudy (ivettef365):

and you have (4+3 , 1+1)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So 7,2 :)

OpenStudy (ivettef365):

correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What about the preimage of the point (4, 3) ? Is that 1,2?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or would that be 7,4? @ivettef365
