I had a geometry question that reads "four non collinear points A,B,C&D that are coplanar" you had to draw this. The answer in the book shows a line with a b and c on it with d not on the line but in the plane. If they are non collinear wouldn't they not be on the same line?

they must mean all 4 together are not collinear

well if the four points are noncollinear it doesnt mean that three of those points arent collinear however that question can be drawn in many different ways as long as all points are in the same plane
