2x - y = 15 4x + 3y = -5 x and y have to be the same for both equations

Ahh math my fav

you would use elimination. so you can easily get -y and 3y to be alike so you would multiply the whole first problem would multiply by 3. to now have 6x-3y=45 and the second equation the same now just cross out the alike ones and solve for x! then plug in x to find y as well
