jdeo0001 is correct for but for further notice if (0,0) is your sub1's and ( 5,2) is your sub2's then your substitution must be d=\[\sqrt{(5-0)^{2} + (2-0)^{2}}\] do not mix them up. that's is always the problem of the students. mixing up
