What's the difference when graphing? -3x-8<7 OR -4x>-18 -3x-8<7 AND -4x>-18 Is there one? I can't find one!

if you said x > 1 and x < 5 then you're basically saying "any number between 1 and 5, but not including either 1 or 5"

compare this to x > 1 or x < 5 and this means that x is any real number since any real number satisfies one or both inequalities

so the AND and OR make a big difference in the solution
