how do you find the vertical intercept

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Vertical intercept? I don't really understand what you mean. If it crosses a zero vertically it would be an x-intercept. You would set y equal to zero to solve for the intercept. If it crosses a zero horizontally it would be a y-intercept. You would set x equal to zero to solve for the intercept.|dw:1379030954391:dw|
