What is the best or the easiest way to invert a matrix?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

gaussian elimination the best and almost all the time the easiest. the worst (computationally) is the cramer rule, using the cofactors.

Thank you very much.

actually if you perform a gauss elimination you need to remember a lot of steps in your head and then rearrange the rows accordingly. so you end writing both equations and matrices for your steps. i think the cofactor is easy in the sense that you write it step by step and and you can easily figure out in case you went wrong somewhere.

for me the easiest to invert matrix you mast be count the colume and the row
