well. 13.95+1 = 14.95 round to $15

I'm not sure if this question is typed wrong, written wrong, or just really tricky. What it asks us to do is to estimate how much the CD at Music and More costs. But they've already told us that it's 13.95. What the question is probably asking us is: About how much MORE does the CD cost at Music and More? For that, we take away 1 from 13.95. Because we're estimating, 13.95 is about 14. 14 - 1 is 13, so 13 is a good estimate for us. The CD is around 13 dollars more at Music and More.

The actual answer, by the way, is 12.95, which is extremely close to our estimate; we're only 5 cents off.
