There are no places where it intersects the x-axis, so the number of solutions is zero. So the discriminant is less than zero. Does it make sense, how the two are related?

i feel so dumb i was kinda confused i forgot how to do it for a few minutes i wasn't looking at it right. Thx tho i realized my mistake. I was trying to use the y-intercept form for a parabola.
