when you divide a whole number by a decimal divisor less than 1, how does the size of the quotient relate to the divisor?

OpenStudy (nory):

If the quotient is bigger, then the divisor is smaller. Think of it this way. If you have a cake and you want to divide it into pieces, well, you could divide it into one inch pieces and then you would get, say, 60. But if you divided it into smaller pieces, you would get more pieces. Does that make sense?

yes thank you

OpenStudy (nory):

No problem. Happy to help. :) Got any more problems?

that's it thank you.
