You might be missing some numbers here...

OpenStudy (angelab97):

g(x)= f(x) +4 for how many values of between -5 and 15 does g(x)=0?

OpenStudy (angelab97):

the function is defined by g(x)= f(x) +4

OpenStudy (nory):

Oh, thanks.

OpenStudy (nory):

So g(x) is always four greater than f(x). Now, we are looking for values where g(x) = 0 (between 15 and -5). Such places must have f(x) = -4. (Does that make sense?)

OpenStudy (angelab97):

how did you get -4?

OpenStudy (nory):

I did something to both sides of the equation: g(x) = f(x) + 4 -4 - 4 g(x) - 4 = f(x)
