How do I compare the following values of planetary eccentricities with the ones that I calculated from my drawn ellipses?? What can you state about the orbits of the various planets? MY ELLIPSES: 1=0.5, 2=0.3636, 3=0.25, 4=0.1333, 5=0.07400740 PLANETARY ELLIPSES: Mercury- 0.206, Venus- 0.007, Earth- 0.017, Mars- 0.093, Jupiter- 0.048, Saturn- 0.056, Uranus- 0.047, Neptune- 0.009, Pluto- 0.250

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

the closer the number is to 0, the more circular the orbit Mercury and Pluto have a much more elliptical orbit than rest of planets
