Question

So for my English 2 class I have to take Hansel and Gretel and re-write it using two of the following techniques:
•parallel plots
•episodic plots
•in medias res
•flash-forwards and flashbacks
•dream sequences
I need ideas one how to include two of these into my story I have writer's block guys....Thanks(:

Cause you to change the story using this techniques, which is pretty difficult like I can't figure out to make them have flashbacks. Idk

As they're getting placed into the pot, make them have flashbacks of their parents at home.
twist the story up a bit and allow the witch to eat them since they don't like their parents

Here's one idea...

Parallel story: this is like having several plots happening at the same time until they meet in the story. write about how the witch came to be living in the woods. Then switch to writing about how the children got lost and found her house.
