OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is the equation for calculating a total salary?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

salary=(total salary/Total days in month)*total working days

OpenStudy (debbieg):

that^^^ uses salary in the computation of salary...?? It kind of depends on what you're starting with. If you have, for example, an hourly wage, and you assume a full time (40 hour) work week, and you assume, say, 2 weeks of vacation per year, then you could compute annual salary: Annual Salary = 50*40*(hourly wage)

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

I don't think there's a fixed equation or formula for that there are all kind of arrangements for salaries

OpenStudy (debbieg):

But really, you'll need to provide a bit more information about the question. ARe you computing salary after taxes, given a tax rate? are you computing annual salary based on weekly or monthly? We just need more info.

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

it'd depend on the context, usually the salary is just a fixed amount over a certain period

OpenStudy (anonymous):

total salary =amount paid per hour*number of hours worked

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but jdoe0001 is also right
