Find the union of the two sets A = {4, 8, 10, 12, 14} and B = {12, 14}. (Points : 1) {12, 14} {4, 8} {10} >>{4, 8, 10, 12, 14} Is this correct?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

@jim_thompson5910 may you please explain to me how im correct for future assignments please?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

the idea with unions is that you just combine the two sets together to form a bigger set (ie throw all elements in both sets into one bigger set) always remember to toss duplicates

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

the way I remember unions is that a marriage is a union when two people get married they form a union and all their stuff is combined under one roof so the two sets of their stuff forms a single bigger set and any duplicates are usually tossed (ok maybe some duplicates are kept) so that's one way you can think and remember what a union is

That is a perfect example!!!!! Thank you so much @jim_thompson5910 :)

you're welcome
