not if you think this has something to do with  GSP  or a compass that shows North.

It sounds more like what are the limitations if you use a computer to make constructions rather than doing them by hand with a compass and straight-edge?  does the student lose something when a computer does it ?

@phi in any case that would not be a limitation of the technology itself. I do not think that many constructions can be made with just a compass and a straight-edge. Asking what are the limitations of using a computer in construction vs a compass and a straight.edge has a very clear answer: "No limitations at all"
