Which subatomic particle(s) are found in the nucleus of the atom? Enter the subatomic particle or particles separated by commas.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So atoms are in a basic sense made up of protons, neutrons, and electrons (unless you want to get into quantum physics where the protons and neutrons break down further). Anyway, the protons and neutrons make up the mass of the atom and are the particles in the center. The electrons orbit around the outside of the atom and give it its volume.

Do you know the subatomic particle or particles?

OpenStudy (abb0t):

protons and neutrons are found inside the nucleus. Electron(s) are on the outer shell(s).
