Biology 8 Online
OpenStudy (anonymous):

Why would you expect a spherical cell to achieve the largest volume in nature compared to a highly flattened cell?

OpenStudy (shrutipande9):

flattened cells volume would be 2pier2. but that of a sphere would be 4/3pier3. take any value of r which is the radius...u will get the volume of sphere more.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is "pier"?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nevermind got it. is there any way of explaining it in terms of biology?

OpenStudy (shrutipande9):

by pier i mean to say\[pir\]

OpenStudy (shrutipande9):

ohh god i cant find the symbol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i figured that out haha

OpenStudy (anonymous):

pi x radius squared

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but yeah, is ther any biological explanation?
