Create your own radical expression, containing a numerical coefficient and two different variables, which can be simplified. Explain, in complete sentences, how you developed the expression, the process of simplifying it, and provide the final simplified expression.

Making one up that can be simplified can be done by starting with something simple, then doing things to it that would be more complex. Then, you reverse the steps to put it into the assignment.

This is what I mean: \(3a^2\implies \sqrt{9a^4}\) It starts with a simple thing. Then, I put it under a radical and suddenly I have a Radical Expression that can be simplified.

If you do something similar to that, but with two variables, it will satisfy the instructions.

so I could do something like \[\sqrt{15x ^{3}y ^{2}}\] ???

Well, there is not much to simplify in that, but yes. It still qualifies and does not say everything must simplify.

"how you developed the expression" LOL. That is the silly part. I think everyone just makes up numbers and letters, picking a few that they knew would simplify.

Oh, I don't think there is any real need to. But if you multiply the 15 by either 3 or 5, then you would have a coefficient that would also partially come out of the root.

What that other guy started with was a radical equation, as opposed to a radical expression. He removed it, but if you wondered what he was talking about, that is it.
