OpenStudy (lucaz):

simplify sqrt[36-(12pi-13)²]

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Are you SURE that's the intended problem? \((12\pi-13)^{2}\) is a whole lot greater than 36. This, the given expression is not a Real Number. If you are okay with that, then you can FACTOR the Difference of Squares, but I wouldn't call it "simplified" in any way.

OpenStudy (lucaz):

what I have here is (the answer): sqrt(13) x sqrt(24pi-13) but I don't know hot to get there

OpenStudy (lucaz):

how*

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Not even close to the original problem as written. 1) You just wrote a Real Number. The Original is not. 2) Where did the \(\pi^{2}\) go? We will need a better problem statement or a better answer. So far, they are aboslutely not on the same page. You cannot get the "answer" from the original expression.

OpenStudy (lucaz):

I just found the mistake.. you're right

OpenStudy (lucaz):

thanks
