OpenStudy (tkhunny):

This is an eyeball problem. You should have the answer about as quickly as you have read the problem statement. (0,something) is a point on the y-axis. Foci on the y-axis mean vertical orientation. This discards the bottom two. Now what?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it the first one?

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

You tell me. Tell me why and speak with confidence.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because it's vertical and it has three points that are in the equation; 4, -4, and 5

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

There you go.

thank you!
