what is the probability that a hand of five cards dealt will contain four of one kind (4 aces or 4 kings or 4 queens etc.) I understand that it is 4c4*48c1/52c5 but then there is a multiplier of 13,why?

The \(13\) comes from \(^{13}C_1\) which is choosing a rank of which you want four of a kind..
