A

8.9% x 3.72 = .33108 .33108+3.72= 4.05

Finding the percent of change is using the ratio of the amount of change to the original amount. The increased amount is really the percent of increase. $4.05-$3.72 = $.33 Then you divide by the Original amount. $.33/$3.72 = .0887 Multiply by 100 to find the percentage .0887 = 8.87% which rounds to 8.9%
