A hunter is aiming horizontally at a monkey who is sitting in a tree. The monkey is so terrified when it sees the gun that it falls off the tree. At that very instant, the hunter pulls the trigger. Part A What will happen?
What will happen? The bullet will miss the monkey because the monkey falls down while the bullet speeds straight forward. The bullet will hit the monkey because both the monkey and the bullet are falling downward at the same rate due to gravity. The bullet will miss the monkey because although both the monkey and the bullet are falling downward due to gravity, the monkey is falling faster. It depends on how far the hunter is from the monkey.
@ganeshie8
last question hopefully lol
u got an opinion ? :)
i think it is The bullet will miss the monkey because although both the monkey and the bullet are falling downward due to gravity, the monkey is falling faster.
why monkey is falling faster than bullet ?
because it is heavier
thats another story actually gravity doesnt care about mass of falling body
both bullet and monkey wud fall at same rate.
ohhh okay
cuz, gravity accelerates both of them at 9.8 m/s^2
so discard that option
?
okay if you said they fall the same then it wouldnt miss the monkey and it will hit it
Good :) we're in right direction now, lets see if thats correct
The bullet will hit the monkey because both the monkey and the bullet are falling downward at the same rate due to gravity.
