Help me find the x-intercept of x^2-2x+3/x+2

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

\(\bf y = \cfrac{x^2-2x+3}{x+2}\ |dw:1379289439210:dw| notice the y-intercept on that graph at that point, where the graph TOUCHES the y-axis, what would be the value for the y-coordinate?

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

woops ahemm \(\bf y = \cfrac{x^2-2x+3}{x+2}\)

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

hmmm, I meant, what would be the value of the x-coordinate rather

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well I graphed it in my graphing calculator and the graphs did not touch the y axis

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it has no x intercept
