If I substitute 3 in for x in the function f(x)=1/x^2-3 to solve for f(3) how would I solve it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[f(x) = \frac{ 1 }{ x^2-3 }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would it be 1/6?

OpenStudy (shamil98):

1/(3)^2-3 so yes 1/6
