How do you set up an equation for this? A medication contains 9 mg of active ingredients for every 1 mg of inert ingredients. how much of each kind of ingredient would be in a single 250-mg caplet?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can u find the way of medication contains and of active ingredients ? If u find it , its very use full :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@melb94 :???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@E.ali How would I be able to find that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

First find what is the medication contains + active ingredients ? Because the thing in each is that (250):)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So what you are saying is that it would be 250 + 9?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no no ! They re singl from them look at this : 9+1=10 caplet 1___________________>? 9_________________________>? 10_____________________>250 Got it ?:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think so. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What s the problem on that ?:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So the equation would be something like this? 9x+1x=250 Which is: 10x=250 to be x=25?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah Modom :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it one of the equations we can say :) We can say much equations for this :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There would be two equations for this in total right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Very much eqyations we cant write all of them :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh ok, Thank you so much for the help!!

You re welcome ! And WELCOME TO OPEN STUDY !:) Any problem ?:)
