Please explain to me how to simplify the expression below, and what is the simplified expression? (3x^3y^4)^2 My answer is With (3x^3y^4)^2 you just square each term : 3^2 = 9 (x^3)^2 = x^3 x^3 = x^6 (y^4)^2 = y^4 y^4 = y^8 and now you gather together all the terms : (3x^3y^4)^2 = 9 x^6 y^8 Is that right?
