Transpose 8 to other side. Then divide the result by 2. After that, square the whole equation. Did you get it? @charlieberzak

we need x.. so you should square sqrt(x) , and is better to move x to one side and numbers to the other side so we'll have: 2(sqrt(x))=-2-8 2(sqrt(x))=-10 sqrt(x)=-5 so it will be imaginary number

i think so.. so im guessing the answer to this question would be no real solution? O_o

Yes. But you can provide an answer as positive and negative 5i, i think. To indicate that you got an imaginary answer.
