Which one of these characteristics is NOT a major difference between DNA and RNA? a)The kind of five-carbon sugar in their structures b)The way the nucleotides of each molecule are linked together c)The number of strands of nucleotides in typical molecules d)The nitrogenous bases found in their strands e)The parts of the cell in which they are found I'm torn between b) and e)
Ok well I figured out the answer to my own question! It can't be b) because the nucleotides of DNA are linked by hydrogen bonds, while the nucleotides of RNA are linked by phosphodiester bonds. The answer is e) because even though DNA and RNA can be found inside the nucleus even though RNA can also be found outside of the nucleus. Still, the parts of the cell in which DNA and RNA are found is not a major difference.
