I'm not sure how to read this balance https://media.glynlyon.com/a_scichem_2013/1/scale.gif

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's multiple choice, and I don't know which it is: 91.490 g *90.496 g 90.4 g 94.459 g *95.495 g It's one of the ones with a * next to it

OpenStudy (matt101):

Looking at the three bars: the first is in increments of 10 g, the second is in increments of 1 g, and the third is in increments of 0.1 g. For these sorts of scales, you just add what you see on each individual bar to get the total. In other words you would have 90+0+0.496 = 90.496 g. The answer is the second one above. Why made you think the answer might be the fifth option? Maybe I can help clarify things for you :)
