what is the cost in dollars for the nails used to build a fence 125 meters long if it requires 30 nails per meter? Assume that 40 nails are sold per box at a cost of 75 cents per box. (solve in factor-label method or dimensional analysis) thanks any help is appreciated

chemistry?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yup

thomaster (thomaster):

I think this would fit better in the math section :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah chem is mostly math

thomaster (thomaster):

Yea but the problem is, this has nothing to do with chemistry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah ik its not chem its just preparing you for chem probs that are similat

OpenStudy (anonymous):

like units and stuff

OpenStudy (anonymous):

should i post it in the math sec

thomaster (thomaster):

dunno if this calls for a specific way to solve it. I'd just multiply 125 by 30 and use a crosstable to solve for the price. But I assume it can be done in a more efficient way.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks anyway
