I would really like help on this homework. You will get a Medal if you help me. The answer & explanation has to be correct and accurate, because my teacher said it has to be. ***The next section instructions are: Determine whether each statement is true or false. Justify your response with the appropriate postulate or theorem.***
11. angle 4 is congruent to angle 10 12. angle 4 is congruent to angle 6 13. measure angle 8 + measure angle 10 = 180 degrees 14. angle 4 is supplementary to angle 9
11) True. Alternate Interior 12) True. Consecutive 13) False. There is no theorem. 14) False. They have like nothing to do with each other... soo...

Explain 12 @__mia_rachel__
They are consecutive interior angles. :/
Yes they are, but that does not make them congruent. It makes them sum to 180.
Oh, then they aren't >.< Sorry
Nor is 4 congruent to 10, since those lines aren't parallel.
Which is also why the last two are false.... they would be true if the lines were parallel.
13 and 14 are false, because the lines aren't parallel
All that said, I must say that it's a real turn-off when a question is prefaced with: "You will get a Medal if you help me. The answer & explanation has to be correct and accurate, because my teacher said it has to be." I don't pick a problem to help on in the interest of getting a medal (or because of a promise of one). And I don't think anyone intends to give anything other than a "correct and accurate" answer. You should want your answers to be correct and accurate, regardless of whether the teacher tells you it "has to be" (really - does a math teacher have to give special instructions that the answer should be "correct and accurate"??)
