Teaching Lacey to LaTex :P @Jamierox4ev3r
okay so we can start with the basics. just to make the command \(\LaTeX\), type this: `\(\LaTeX\)`
\(\LaTeX\)
yeah so that the basic command. \(\to~get~words~to~look~like~this...\) `\(hi\)` and from there you can add colors, different fonts...etc.
Anyone else wanna try to teach me? Ima slow learner!
and for spaces, just use ~ `\(Hello~there!\)`
\(\Large\color{Blue} {Lacey} Haaha did I do anything....
\(\Large\color{Blue} {Lacey}\)
oh just add \) at the end of your thing... and take out the space in between blue and lacey.... then it will work! \(\Large\color{blue}{Lacey}\)
\(\Large\color{blue}{Lacey}\)
lol nice :D now that you know the basics, try reading thomaster's tutorial again its above your post :)
lol this post got me up to a 77 SS \(\Huge\color{turquoise}{\mathbb{Y}\mathbb{A}\mathbb{Y}\mathbb{!}}\) :D
\(\Large\color\bigstar{Red}{Lacey~Sucks~At~LaTeX}\)
Did I do anything?
\(\scr \Huge \color{red}{H\hspace{-16pt}E\hspace{-8pt}Y\hspace{-6pt}L\hspace{-10pt}A\hspace{-9pt}C\hspace{-10pt}E\hspace{-7pt}Y}\) It just takes a little practice. And, you don't and to go overboard with it. Here in \(\LaTeX\) land I get a little silly with it. Out in most posts I do not. Just the \(\ddot\smile\) and math stuff.
You can right click mine and view the TeX code to see how I got the red in there. `\(\color{<color name/#value>}{thing to be colored}\)`
lol to have a command: just make sure there is a backslash `\(\color{hotpink}{Lacey}\)` just demonstating how you would use the little formula that e.mc provided up there
\(\color{hotpink}{Lacey}\) \(\leftarrow\) Hot pink? Hehe. Some color names are funny.
@KhiZ here may be a good place to start, but you can also go to @thomaster 's legendary tutorial up above this post
good... now just add the parentheses \(\ddot\smile\)
Type this \(\rightarrow\) `\(\ddot\smile\)`
@KhiZ
\[\Huge \mathbb{ \color{brown}{L}\color{red}{A}\color{orange}{C}\color{lime}{E}\color{green}{Y}} \huge\color{navy}{\ddot\smile}\]
Luigi=genius
\[\huge \color{red}{Not~~Even}\]
ha so you say :P
\(\ddot\smile\)
lol nice \(\Huge\color{turquoise}{\ddot\smile}\)
haha, ty hun!
\(\color{Aqua}{Natalie}\)
Like my name? Its in aqua!
lol its pretty xD \(\Huge\mathbb{\color{aqua}{NATALIE!}}\)
Thanks <3
❤
A lot of the codes actually I got from this tutorial: http://openstudy.com/study#/updates/51fbcbade4b0cc46c14a461d and that is largely how I learned. As you can see, a lot of things can be done with \(\LaTeX\)
\(Luigi\)
\[\color{red}{Lacey}\]
\[\color{blue}{Luigi}\]
awesome :)
\[ \Huge \mathbb{ \color{#00FCCC}{Lacey}} \]
\[ \Huge \mathbb{ \color{#00FCCC}{Luigi}} \]
These are all the different sizes: tiny, scriptsize, small, normalsize, large, Large, LARGE, huge, Huge
\[\LARGE \color{navy}{AWESOME} \color {green}{\ddot\smile}\]
\(\Huge\mathbb{\color{red}{Luigi!}}\)
\(\huge\mathbb{\color{green}{I~Love~Luigi!}}\)
\[\Huge \color{pink}{\heartsuit}~~\color{green}{\ddot\smile}\]
@Luigi0210 Haha lol
\[\scr \tiny \color{red}{YOU'RE} \Huge~~ \mathbb{\color{green}{GETTING}} ~~\large \it \color{orange}{IT}\]
\[\scr \Huge \color{blue}{I Know}\]
\[\scr \Huge \color{blue}{I~Know}\]
If you're trying to get them to be all the same font, they all have to be capitalized. Like: \scr \Huge \color{blue}{I~KNOW}
Maybe I don't want them all the same font lol jk Trying to cover up meh mistake. \scr \Huge \color{blue}{I~KNOW}
\[\LARGE \mathbb{\color{#D1FF00}{YOU}~\color{#FF1700}{KNOW}~\color{#00FF5C}{I}~\color{#A1FF00}{LOVE}~\color{#BA00FF}{YOU}~\color{#FF008A}{LACEY}}~~\color{springgreen}{ ;)}\]
\[ \Huge \mathbb{ \color{#00FCCC}{AWEH}} \]
\[\LARGE \mathbb{\color{#D1FF00}{YOU}~\color{#FF1700}{KNOW}~\color{#00FF5C}{I}~\color{#A1FF00}{LOVE}~\color{#BA00FF}{YOU}~\color{#FF008A}~\color{#FF1700}{TOO}~\{LUI}}~~\color{springgreen}{ ;)}\]
`\{LUI}}` \(\leftarrow\)Oops! Extra \ there!
Thx @e.mccormick
I need extra help with this LaTex!
With what?
With \(LaTeX\)
Just in general or with something specific?
More specific :)
Well, then what?
Okay, You confused me.
Well, you said you needed extra help with \(\LaTeX\). I asked with what part and you replied \(\LaTeX\), which is the whole and not a part, so I asked if you meant all of \(\LaTeX\) or just some specific part of \(\LaTeX\). You replied a specific part, so I asked which part and you said that question confused you... Obviously something in the conversation has gone sideways.
Colors, font....
Haha and Obviously!
`\(\color{<color name or #value>}{<thing to be collored}\)` The < > are things you would type in. The rest are all required, even the `\(` and { and so on. `\(\color{red}{Hi!}\)` makes: \(\color{red}{Hi!}\) Text can be done a few ways. `\(\text{Tada! This is text}\)` is one way and it makes: \(\text{Tada! This is text}\) Now, if I put the \text{Tada! This is text} inside the text, it would be like this: `\(\color{red}{\text{Tada! This is text}}\)` and make: \(\color{red}{\text{Tada! This is text}}\)
Oh, and you can right click any bit someone makes and go to the Show math As > TeX Commands and see what was used to get it!
\(\LaTeX\)
